FLAT RATE SHIPPING—only $5.50 for any order
shipped wherever we can ship!

DOMESTIC (USA) ORDERS
Whether your order contains one item or ten (or more!), the shipping charge is always the same: a flat rate amount of $5.50. PatentWear orders are shipped via the United States Postal Service (USPS), usually Priority Mail, sometimes First Class, depending on packaging required. Orders may have different billing and shipping addresses, but our system allows only one shipping address per order: please plan accordingly. When your order is shipped Priority Mail, you will receive a USPS tracking number for it at the email address you provide. (Be sure your spam filters allow emails from orders@patentwear.com).

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS ONLY
For deliveries to addresses outside of the USA: the shipping charges are automatically determined by the United States Postal Service (USPS) integrated with PatentWear’s shopping cart system, which calculates the Priority Mail International amount based upon destination. NOTE: We now offer the Flat Rate of US$5.50 on ALL orders—including international! You may find that it is more cost effective to order multiple items at once. Any other duty, customs, or import charges that your order incurs are not collected by PatentWear, and must be paid at the recipient’s end to the appropriate government department as required by that country. If your country does not appear as a choice during check-out, we’re sorry, but shipping to that location is currently unavailable.

Please note: we cannot accept exchanges on international orders—all international sales are final.
If an item (that was delivered to an international address) is defective, please contact us within 30 days of the order’s original shipping date via the form on our Contact Us page for return authorization. International returns without prior authorization from PatentWear will be disposed of without any further action.

ESTIMATED DELIVERY TIMES
PatentWear products are custom produced only when we receive an order for them. Thus, we do not offer rush services or expedited shipping. Total estimated time from the moment we receive your order to its final delivery in the U.S. (excluding national holidays) is 5-10 business days, and to currently available international addresses, 8-14 business days. Please allow extra time for deliveries during peak holiday seasons. Processing an order before shipment takes 1-3 days, excluding weekends and holidays. Delivery to U.S. addresses takes 2-7 days, and 6-10 days to other countries, subject to final destination distance from central California.

RETURNS and EXCHANGES
We want you to love your PatentWear stuff, but, if an item fails to meet your expectations, you can return or exchange any unworn, unwashed or defective merchandise within 30 days of its original shipping date for an exchange, an e-Credit redeemable at www.patentwear.com, or, a refund (U.S. orders only). For your convenience, you can type directly into this handy Returns and Exchanges Form and then print it (requires the free download Adobe Reader software), or, print a blank version and manually fill in the necessary information. Be sure to then enclose your completed form with your insured and/or trackable return.

Note: if an item that was delivered to an international address is defective or incorrect, please contact us within 30 days of the order’s original shipping date via the form on our Contact Us page for return authorization. International returns without prior authorization from PatentWear will be disposed of without any further action. Please be sure to contact us before returning any defective or damaged items from locations outside of the USA!

The fastest way to exchange an item is to immediately place a new order: a refund is only issued when we receive your return. Alternatively, you may request an exchange when you return merchandise, a slower process. Because PatentWear products are only produced when an order is received for them, all exchanges are processed as new orders, and a new charge for the exchange will appear on the payment system you have provided. The refund we issue for the returned item value will cancel the new charge, excluding the flat rate shipping charge of $5.50 per delivery address.

We recommend that your return shipment be insured and/or trackable: we are unable to issue refunds for merchandise we have not received and which is not trackable. In order to receive a refund, returned merchandise must be in new condition, must not have been washed, and must be free of any heavy odors such as smoke, cooking oils, perfumes, and deodorants.

Refunds are issued to the payment method used for the original order. Although we issue refunds immediately upon receipt of your return, please allow anywhere from 5-20 days for the refunded amount to appear on your credit/debit card statement, depending upon your bank’s system and statement cycle.

If you have included an exchange order with your return and the value exceeds the returned item value, you will need to provide a payment method to cover the difference (original payment information is only accessed for refunds). We cannot accept physical forms of payment, such as checks, money orders or cash: do not include them with your return. Please note that shipping charges are only refunded if the return is due to our fault (defective, damaged, or our error). Exchanges for different sizes, designs, styles, or colors incur the Flat Rate shipping charge of $5.50 for each U.S. delivery address.

Gift Returns: If you are returning an item you received as a gift, you may either exchange it (and include a payment method to cover shipping) or, receive a PatentWear e-credit (sent to an email address you provide) for the value of the item. You will need to create an account at www.PatentWear.com in order to apply the credit to an order. Refunds can only be issued to the original purchaser's payment method. If a problem with your gifted item is our fault (defective, damaged, or wrong item sent), please contact us directly via the form on our Contact Us page and let us know before returning any items: we may be able to expedite a replacement for you.

Each order is packed with a Returns and Exchanges Form for your convenience. If you do not have the form, you can type directly into this handy downloadable PDF version and then print it (requires the free download Adobe Reader software), or, print a blank copy and manually fill in the necessary information. Be sure to then enclose your completed form with your insured and/or trackable return. In lieu of a form, you may simply include the following information with your return:

Original Order number and/or Date
Original Order Purchaser (billing) and Ship To name (if different from billing)
Address
Phone
Email
Item returned
Reason for return
Whether you would like a refund, PatentWear e-Credit, or exchange (and for which item)
VISA, MasterCard, or Discover credit card information (to cover shipping and any merchandise value differences), including:
Card type, card number, expiration date, signature
